We look forward to seeing you at one (or several), of our ‘Events on the Hill’! Don’t forget, if one of the above events requires pre-registration, please do so before the event date as it often means we have food or materials to prepare per guest or limited spacing for the event.
Last weekend kicked-off our grill menu season here at Hill Country Market. Now, every weekend from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, you can come enjoy your favorite grill foods. Our grill features local, quality meats full of great flavor.
HCM Grill Menu:
Like variety? So do we! That’s why our grill menu will be changing up now and then throughout the summer. Plus, we’ll be adding veggies from our garden like our corn on the cob. You can now find our menu and grill menu on the left sidebar here on our blog so you can stay up-to-date on what’s new at the grill.
So come relax on our patio, enjoy tasty grill favorites and soak in the warm weather this weekend. We’d love to see you at the market!
It’s time for our cheese of the month and boy is it a tasty one! Try Manchego cheese. Manchego cheese is a mild cheese made from sheep milk and imported from Spain. We carry both three-month Manchego and 12 month.
Three-month aged Manchego has a mild flavor with a soft, creamy taste. The 12 month is a delicious option for those of you who enjoy a strong or sharp flavor. Both are absolutely delicious and great to pair with unique wines and fruit. It’s the perfect late summer cheese and a great addition to any picnic outing or grilled meal.
Our wine of the month is a terrific Sauvignon Blanc, Fair Trade wine titled, Six Hats.
For those of you who enjoy supporting brands and companies with great missions in mind for both global and local communities, this is an ideal wine. The ‘six hats’ stand for, Partnership, Change, Potential, Equity, Dignity and Sustainability. Check out their site for more information on this company’s ethics and mission.
